Hi there!
Once a military machine, I reprogrammed my brain and burst onto the creative scene, passionate about storytelling and exploring new places. With specialties in layout, research, packaging, experimentation in design, and user experience, I see the world through kaleidoscope lenses, caring deeply about my community, clients, and the magic we create together.
My design journey began in the U.S. Air Force, where I honed my skills in design, photojournalism, public relations, and crisis management. My time in the military allowed me to blend my passion for storytelling with my ability to clearly and consistently communicate, leading to creative and solid brand creation and management. I was awarded several Department of Defense Awards for my role in video series and infographic creation.
After my service, I excelled at Eastern Washington University in roles such as Special Projects, Makerspace Coordinator, and Social Media Manager. I created impactful projects like “Creating with a Conscience” and the “Take Flight” logo. As a Makerspace Coordinator, I mentored students and developed user guides. In the wilds, I increased brand visibility and engagement, creating content for the university, fellow creatives, and local restaurants. My logo creation and sustainable packaging work earned me two local Spokane American Advertising Awards.
Currently, I am a graphic design instructor at Spokane Falls Community College and am pursuing my Master of Fine Arts at Vermont College of Fine Arts. Fueled by curiosity and the constant question of “what if…,” my journey is marked by a dedication to fostering innovation, promoting sustainability, and inspiring others through my work, making me a versatile and impactful designer.
